Engineering Specialist

Role Description The Engineering Specialist is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves supporting healthcare-related engineering projects, including maintaining and improving medical facility infrastructure, equipment, and systems. The Engineering Specialist will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to analyze technical requirements, troubleshoot mechanical and manufacturing engineering issues, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Typical tasks include reviewing project specifications, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within healthcare facilities. Qualifications - Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare and engineering teams. - Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to assess technical problems, interpret data, and recommend practical engineering solutions. - Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering activities within healthcare settings. - Candidates should possess Manufacturing Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills to support equipment maintenance, process optimization, and facility upgrades. - Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Biomedical Engineering (or related field). - Experience in healthcare, hospital engineering, or medical device environments is preferred. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid arrangement, manage time independently, and adapt to changing project priorities. - Familiarity with UAE or regional healthcare regulations and standards is an advantage.
