Responsibilities
- Keep the delivery van or bakkie clean, branded, fuelled, and roadworthy.
- Reconcile collected parcels and cash-on-delivery payments with the depot at shift end.
- Execute high-volume multi-drop parcel and document deliveries within tight delivery windows.
- Scan parcels accurately on collection and delivery using the company handheld or mobile app.
- Provide courteous, professional service to customers at every doorstep and reception.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the local suburbs, business parks, and shortest routes.
- Confident driving a 0.5 ton enclosed van or 1 ton bakkie in busy suburban and city traffic.
- A valid Code B (light motor vehicle) driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Honest and reliable, with the ability to handle valuable parcels responsibly.
- A friendly, presentable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent time management and the ability to work at pace under deadline pressure.
